1st  Scouted trail and cached drinks for weekend assault of CO Trail from Copper Mtn to Leadville. Talked to 3 thru-hikers at trail magic site at TN pass

2nd  Ten hour Hike of segment #8 (25 miles: Copper Mtn to TN Pass), one porcupine, refreshing stop at cataract falls, bad mexican food at Golden Burro

3rd  Six hour Hike of segment #9 (14 miles: Tn Pass to Turquoise Lk), yapping dog alarm clock for rude campers

6th  Three sets chins, dips, abs

7th  Cycle class

9th  One hour 45 min evening Hike up Mt Garfield.  Leave at sunset, back with headlamp, lightening over Uncompaghre plateau

10th  Three and a half hour Hike: Devil’s Kitchen-Andy’s Loop- Eagle’s Wing-Old Gordon, hide in cave during rain and lightening

11th  Yoga class, Cycle class

12th  Cycle class

14th  Cycle class

15th  Scouted trail near Independence Pass and trailheads of the CT

16th  Nine hour Hike (20 miles) of Segment 10 of the CT with side trip to climb Mt Massive with slED dog.

17th  Eleven hour Hike (26 miles) of Segment 11 of the CT with side trip to climb Mt Elbert with slED dog.

21st  Cycle class, scout CDT at Cottonwood Pass

22nd  Six & half hour Hike of Segment #12 of CT with SLED DOG. Princeton Hot Springs, prime rib @ Quincy’s

23rd  Eight & half hour Hike of Segment #13 of CT with SLED DOG. Princeton Hot Springs, Asian Palette & Saki-tinis

24th  Six & three quarter Hike of Segment #14 of CT with SLED DOG. Hitch to car at Monarch Pass. Lunch in Poncha Springs.

30th  Nine hour, 45 min Hike of segments 15 & 16 of the CT with Sled Dog (28 miles).  Lots of driving.
